Condition of Plate: Overall Very Good.  There are a few extremely light fox marks mostly near the edges. There is very light toning at the edges.

Author and Work Detail: This delightful, first edition lithograph is from Friederich Martin Von Reibisch’s Der Rittersaal, Eine Geschichte des Ritterthums, seines Entstehens und Fortgangs, seiner Gebrauche und Sitten or A History of the Development and Customs of Chivalry. The work was published in 1836 in Dresden, Germany. Deutscher Rittersaal featured plates of arms and armor used by knights, assault-towers, knights in full armor on horse-back, and jousting scenes.
